Monthly progress update



Hello, everyone! I hope you're all doing great. Darknessminotaur here, reporting on May’s development progress:

I've been reading the feedback carefully and decided to rewrite much of the first half, as well as part of the second half, to improve the pacing. At the moment, the story draft is now at least twice the volume compared to the first version.

I'm still in the process of revising and correcting the new content. In addition, I'll be adding new sprites and more character art to complement the expanded story.

This update should be ready by the end of next month.

That being said, Build 0.1.2 early access is live on patreon, which includes the visual upgrades, bug fixes and extra content I've been working on over the past month. You can find the details in the changelog below.

New content:

  • Added shading to CG.
  • New Dominik angry sprite.
  • New Magnus default sprite.
  • Replaced most placeholder backgrounds with artworks bought from Minikle bg assets.
  • Added the city map (WIP).
  • Added an illustration of the Player character to the input name screen.
  • New scene at the clinic with Dr. Bernard.

UI Changes:

  • Added a gallery to see the unlocked CGs which can be accessed from the main menu.
  • Changed the namebox position on the mobile build.
  • Reduced the opacity to the dialogue window.

Bugfixes:

  • Typos and spelling errors fixed.
  • Fixed a bug that kept displaying the default name on MC's lines.
  • Fixed a visual bug on the android menu UI.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the dialogue window from being hidden during special CGs.
